Triple Elvis (Silver) by WarHo™ is a 2025 screenprint on canvas that renders the iconic image of Elvis with a quiet, metallic shimmer. Set against a reflective field of silver acrylic, the portrait carries the cool glow of the silver screen and a subtle nod to the silver-coated walls of Warhol’s Factory. In this smaller, more intimate format, the iconicity of the image feels distilled—less like spectacle, more like artifact.

As with all WarHo™ pieces, the print is hand-pulled from custom silkscreens inspired by Warhol's rendition of Elvis, based the image on a publicity still from the 1960 film Flaming Star.

Instead of portraying Elvis Presley with a guitar, Warhol chose an image of him as a cowboy, gun drawn. This deliberate decision emphasized Elvis’s role as an actor rather than a musician, reframing his cultural image. In WarHo™’s hands, it becomes a quiet gesture toward the intersection of fame, surface, and repetition, playing ode to a classic Warhol.
