Space Fruit: Watermelon Poster (Signed)

Space Fruit Poster's (Watermelon & Cantaloupes), were made by Andy in 1979 for an exhibition at HMK Fine Arts. The two posters show screenprints from his "Space Fruit Series" where he begins to experiment with cast shadows as a compositional element. The unique posters show Andy's turn away from commercial images and his focus towards traditional still life props. These original poster's are both signed by Andy in black marker and are stamped on the back with "The Estate of Andy Warhol".

This signed poster includes a frame. Hand-signed by Andy Warhol in felt center.
