This is a very rare double-sided mass card for Andy Warhol’s memorial service, held April 1, 1987 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York. Andy’s 1985 painting Raphael I is displayed on the front. The mass program on the backside includes a prelude, scriptures (to be read by Brigid Berlin), a list of speakers (including John Richardson, Yoko Ono, and Nicholas Love), communion, postlude, celebrant, and a description of the meal that was served to hundreds of homeless people in honor of Andy Warhol. A donation of flowers to Mother Teresa and the NYC Parks Department is also noted. This is an notable work in art history and is a great item for serious Warhol fans to add to their collections.
